The original house from the Swedish TV films about Pippi Longstocking. It is one of the attractions at Kneippbyn’s Summer Park. Come and see where Pippi lives, sneak upstairs to Astrid Lindgren’s writing chamber, and—only if you dare—venture into Pippi’s ghostly attic filled with pirates and buccaneers…

In 2001–2002, Villa Villekulla underwent a complete renovation with the ambition of recreating the environment from the classic Pippi films. We are continually working to find original details from the films. Today, the house features items like an original sofa and the T-Ford police car used by Officers Kling and Klang.

Did you know that the movies “Pippi in the South Seas” and “Pippi on the Run” were filmed here at Kneippbyn? During the filming, only the exterior parts of the house were used, while all indoor scenes were shot in film studios.
