Villa Villekulla, the original house from SVT’s films about Pippi Longstocking, is located right here at Kneippbyn. Today, this famous house is a very popular museum that attracts thousands of visitors every year. As you probably know, we’re open during major cruise ship arrivals and for private visits in the fall, winter, and spring.
Welcome to Kneippbyn Resort, just south of Visby. We offer accommodations in bed-and-breakfast rooms, camping cabins, hotels, vacation homes, mobile homes, apartments, and Gotland’s largest campground. You can now book for 2027!
Drömstugebyn is a privately owned vacation cottage community (BRF) located right next to Kneippbyn Resort. A great choice for those who want to take care of themselves. Drömstugebyn is available for booking through fall 2026!

Summer is fantastic and attracts lots of holidaymakers every year. On sunny days, we have the most guests on Mondays to Thursdays. There are significantly fewer guests at the weekends, and the entrance fee is also lower then. Most people start their day at Summerland move on to Waterland in the afternoon. For the best possible experience, it can sometimes be smart to think a little like Pippi – the opposite way around.
For those who want to experience Villa Villekulla
Now you can experience Villa Villekulla and “Astrid the Story” all year round. The original house from SVT’s Pippi Longstocking films is visited by over 100,000 guests each year. See the original details, read about the film shoots, and try sitting on Lilla Gubben.

Pets are welcome in the parks if they are kept on a leash throughout the visit. We offer a limited number of accommodations where you can bring your four-legged friend.
To create the best experience for you as a guest, we have limited the number of places in the amusement parks. All tickets are sold online, and it is wise to book in advance. You can easily change the date of your visit. The ticket price includes all rides.
Summerland restaurants, cafés, and kiosks. Restaurant Solsidan, Boston Diner, and Café Borgen. Waterland two dining options. Gusto, located right at the entrance, and Lagunen pool club, which has a large lounge area.
There is plenty to do at Kneippbyn, but the distances are short. As a visitor, you can move freely between Summer and Waterland. Please decide on a meeting place in case you get separated, or write your phone number on your children's entrance wristbands so that our staff can help you more easily.
