Visby is known for its historical sights, which you should not miss during your stay.

Your stay with us includes admission to our amusement parks, and you can move freely between the parks during their opening hours. Waterland to enjoy as much swimming as you can imagine, and we promise that you will feel a real thrill when you throw yourself down one of our water slides. Summerland a wide range of activities. Perhaps you would like to drive a go-kart or bounce on one of our trampolines.

In the heart of Summerland the real Villa Villekulla, the original house from SVT's films about Pippi Longstocking. The house is open every day.

Our school trip package includes:

Bring a packed lunch. Lunch/dinner can be booked if the class wishes, at an additional cost as per the prices below.

In 2026, we will be selling school trips on the following dates:

SPRING: Fri 5/22 – Mon 5/25, Thu 5/28 – Mon 6/1, Thu 6/4 – Mon 6/8.
FALL: Thu 8/13 – Sun 8/16, Thu 8/20 – Sun 8/23.

* It is more expensive to travel by ferry on major holiday weekends, such as National Day. It is also always most expensive to travel from Gotland on Sunday afternoons. Please keep this in mind when planning your travel dates.

About Kneipp Village

Kneippbyn Resort Visby – Everything in one place. The resort is located by the sea just south of Visby and is an amusement park. Kneippbyns Camping is Gotland's only five-star campsite with modern service buildings and all amenities. In addition to camping, there is also an accommodation facility with approximately 750 beds in various categories.

The resort is family-friendly. The area also features Summer and Waterland the original Villa Villekulla movie house, a café, restaurant, tennis court, adventure mini golf, and more. Anything you can't find here, you'll find in Visby, located just 3 km from Kneippbyn.

As a guest, the entire Kneippbyn resort is at your disposal. The question is whether you will have enough time. There are lots of exciting activities here for a school trip that will create memories for a lifetime.

Summerland

Kneippbyn's Summerland, a theme park centered around Villa Villekulla, has everything you need for a successful day! Full of activities, jumping, and playing, laughter is guaranteed.

Bouncy castles, pedal boats, and even a flying boat! New Pirate Fall and Storm, and much, much more. There is plenty to do here, and everything is open, but not all the time. Staffed activities are open according to the day's program! Summerland also very child-friendly.

Historical adventure and competition in Visby

City adventure with lunch at a restaurant in Visby

This add-on is included in the school trip package! There are a large number of chests hidden around Visby. In teams, we solve riddles and answer historical questions about the city's history. The teams must find a number of historical sites around Visby. The winning team receives a prize, and after the activity we have lunch at a nice restaurant in Visby.

Bicycle rental at Kneippbyn Resort Visby

ACTIVE SCHOOL TRIP – CYCLING IN VISBY

Swap the bus trip to Kneippbyn for rental bikes. The bikes can be picked up directly at Visby Harbor when you arrive in Visby. Bike helmets are included, of course. Your luggage will be transported separately to Kneippbyn. You will then have the bikes for your entire stay and can cycle and explore places such as Södra Hällarna, Högklint, Visby, etc. on your own.

Food on the boat trip

Bring a packed lunch for the trip or book the dish of the day (lunch or dinner) on the boat trip to and from Gotland. Choose between three different dishes, served with salad, bread, and a drink.

In 2026, you can book school trips with us on the following dates:
SPRING: Fri, May 22 – Mon, May 25, Thu, May 28 – Mon, June 1, Thu, June 4 – Mon, June 8.
FALL: Thu, Aug 13 – Sun, Aug 16, Thu, Aug 20 – Sun, Aug 23.

We are currently waiting for Destination Gotland's schedule and price list for 2026. The ferry runs daily to Gotland, but on some days there are only evening departures arriving in Visby at midnight, and on other days there are only early morning departures from Visby. These are the days you want to avoid for school trips, so we need to know how flexible you are in terms of travel days and dates. But please indicate the dates you would prefer to travel, and we will use those as a basis until we know better.

The trip includes full board, from dinner on the day you arrive to lunch on the day you depart. If you would also like to have the dish of the day served on the ferry trip, this can be booked. You can also upgrade and exchange the bus transfer for rental bikes, in which case your luggage will be transported separately.

Frequently asked questions

Booking fee

Price: SEK 300 per booking, always applies and is added to the registration fee.

Payment terms

A registration fee/deposit of SEK 2,000 of the trip price must be paid within 10 days of booking. The booking can then be changed until the final payment is made. Final payment must be made no later than 28 days before departure. Changes are possible subject to availability and for a change fee of SEK 200 per change. The new price of the trip is calculated based on the new number of travelers.

Cancellation protection

Cancellation insurance can only be taken out at the time of booking. Cost: SEK 50 per person. Cancellation insurance is taken out for the entire group and is paid for at the same time as the registration fee.

Cancellation insurance allows individual participants to cancel up to 2 days before departure. No changes are possible 1 day before departure.

Cancellation insurance applies in the event of illness, death, and similar major events within the family. The cancellation must be verified by a certificate from a doctor, insurance company, or similar.

The new price of the booking is calculated based on the new number of travelers, and the difference is refunded. (Booking fees, change fees, and cancellation insurance are non-refundable.)

Personal data

No later than 28 days before departure, a complete list of participants must be sent to us with names, social security numbers, and any food allergies for all participants. When booking, a form will be sent to you to use for this purpose.
