Q: How do we get to Kneippbyn?

The resort is located about 3 km south of Visby. From the ferry terminal, it takes about five minutes by car to reach our facility. Drive along the ferry road and then turn right at the large roundabout. Then follow the signs. You can rent bicycles at the port, and we have excellent bike paths leading both to Kneippbyn and into Visby. Of course, you can also pre-book a bus or taxi to pick you up directly at the port terminal or the airport. We’re happy to assist with booking your transfer.

Q: What is the Kneipp Village Stage?

Kneippbyn is home to Gotland’s most iconic outdoor concert venue, with the Baltic Sea as a backdrop. Over the years, major acts such as Uggla, Ledin, and Miss Li have performed here. The venue can accommodate 5,000 people. We organize our own concerts but also rent out the space to external organizers upon request. Perhaps you have an idea and would like to put on a fun event together with us?

Q: When are you open for groups and events?

Kneippbyn Resort is open for bookings from April through October. From late May through late August, the resort is open to summer guests, featuring Summer and Waterland adventure parks. We are also able to accommodate groups and conferences during the “regular” season.

There is something special about meeting up for a kick-off or conference on Gotland. The island location, combined with the landscape, the people, and the wide range of activities available, makes the island an excellent place to build strong teams. At Kneippbyn Resort Visby, we are used to arranging meetings, conferences, and kick-offs for anywhere from 10 to 1,000 people. Whether it's a large company that wants the entire facility to themselves or a small management team that wants to meet in a creative environment.

Kneippbyn Resort Visby has 750 beds in hotel rooms, apartments, and cottages. Conferences are usually held in the Rotunda, which can be furnished according to your wishes, with theater-style or classroom-style seating being the most common options. For smaller groups, or if you want to split up, the newly renovated Kallenbergs Villa is also available. Our conference building Utsikten is also popular and offers a fully equipped kitchen where, for example, a cooking class can be held.
Restaurant Solsidan hosts dinners with the sea as a backdrop. As the client, you have the opportunity to help compose the event's menus according to your wishes. We dare to promise that we have the restaurant with the best sea view on Gotland.

Flexibility is probably our greatest strength. But the classic Rotunda is the hub of our facilities. The Rotunda can seat up to 220 people for dinner, but works just as well for a really lively party where we can accommodate over 500 people. The restaurant has a terrace with unbeatable views of the Baltic Sea, perfect for pre-dinner drinks. We arrange the entire food and beverage concept and plan the conference days according to your wishes.

When the ferry docks in Visby, buses will be waiting to take all participants on the 3 km journey south from the port to Kneippbyn Resort Visby. Once there, participants will check into their accommodations, cottages, apartments, and hotels. Afterward, there will be time to use the paddle tennis courts, tennis court, pool, sauna, bicycles, hike along the water, or play adventure mini golf. These facilities are exclusively for the group's use, and participants are free to choose what they want to do throughout their stay.

Can I rent the entire Kneipp village?

Yes, in April, May, September, and October, it is possible to use the facility exclusively. Perfect if you want to create something unique and if there are many of you. The resort offers lots of fun activities to complement your event.

How does the food and beverage service work?

We are an experienced team that serves everything from breakfast buffets and coffee breaks to delicious lunches or slightly more formal evening dinners. We will of course tailor the menu to suit your budget. Our restaurants are fully licensed, and the main restaurant, Solsidan, can accommodate 280 dinner guests in its basic configuration.
