Tips for wonderful days on Gotland
Now you have the chance to book Gotland at a great price. When you stay at our campsite, you are close to everything you need and can spend all your time doing what you want. We just want to warn you that it can be difficult to tear yourself away from all the fun at Summer and Waterland.
The package includes ferry transport with space for your motorhome or caravan, a camping pitch at our five-star campsite, morning swim in the lagoon, and free admission tickets to the Summer and Waterland adventure parks.
All this at a very affordable price.
So much fun at the adventure parks! Among the favorites are the Kalkracet roller coaster, go-karting, Piratfallet, and Pippi's sing-along. Waterland completely unique in its design, and we promise you'll feel a wonderful tingle in your stomach. Of course, there are fun activities whether you like fast rides or are a little younger and mainly enjoy splashing around and playing.
Always something fun going on Kneippbyn is a family resort that has been welcoming summer guests since 1907. For the past 50 years, the resort has been run and developed by the Werkelin family. The ambition today is still to be a place where summer memories are created together – at your own pace.
In the evening, in addition to a delicious dinner at one of the resort's restaurants, there is plenty to do. Choose between volleyball, padel tennis, tennis, the gym, and Gotland's most exciting adventure golf course.
If you need to rest for a while, the accommodation is only a few meters from the adventure parks, so it's perfect for taking a little afternoon nap. You're not allowed to jump on the comfortable beds, but it's perfectly okay to lie with your feet on the pillow, just like Pippi.
Gotland and Visby have a lot to offer, so it won't be difficult to find something fun to do. Below you can read about some fun things you can do.
Sand & clear blue Water Gotland is known for its shallow sandy beaches. From Kneippbyn, the closest beach is Tofta Strand, which also has a nice selection of food and drink facilities. If you want to swim somewhere a little more secluded, we recommend the fishing village of Gnisvärd, which is really beautiful.
Challenges to do together Here at Kneippbyn, there is no shortage of activities to enjoy together, but if you want to go on an outing, there are lots of fun things to do. Perhaps you are curious about horseback riding, climbing, or kayaking. Gotland offers a wide range of really fun activities.
Visby is consistently at the top of the annual sunshine index. But if, contrary to expectations, the weather is bad, the Fenomenalen science center is a weatherproof alternative. Here, the family can experiment with interactive exhibitions and discover the mysteries of physics and technology.
