Kneippbyn is probably the most experienced co-organizer on Gotland when it comes to groups and events. Motorcycle rallies, soccer weeks, major annual meetings, concerts, and the Absolut Gotland student party are just a few examples of the events they organize. For several years now, the facility has focused on associations and groups.
"We have an incredible range in our arena, where we can switch between small-scale and very large events. It's easy to find a price tag that matches the group's requirements," says event manager Albin Järlsäter.

It is no understatement to say that many people have a connection to Kneippbyn Resort. Guests have been visiting the resort since the early 1900s.

Year after year, these investments have resulted in Kneippbyn becoming one of Sweden's most popular resorts, attracting over 90,000 guests annually.

"It's awesome that so many people want to come here and that we get the chance to share amazing moments," says Albin.

Kneippbyn's mission is to be the place where families create summer memories, but group bookings and events have always been a natural part of the business. Every year, 2-5 major events are organized at the resort.

-We have all the logistics close at hand, and combined with the fantastic location, we have everything we need to create something unique. Gotland as a location also contributes to the magical atmosphere. You feel your shoulders drop as you drive off the ferry.

Fun and tasty

At Kneippbyn, the fun factor is important and something that people often come back for. Of course, there are many different ways to have fun. For some, "don't touch the floor" in Villa Villekulla is really fun, and for others, perhaps a glass of sparkling wine in a deck chair right next to our lagoon is the most appreciated. Of course, all group bookings can be combined with food, and Gotland has a really strong selection of local ingredients.

Kneippbyn is a unique place in many ways. It is a large resort with the sea and Visby right on its doorstep. Our spaces are large, but the distances are short. This makes us particularly well-suited for special events such as annual meetings, member meetings, and events that require exclusivity for a large number of participants. Logistics are easy with us. We don't just mean that it's child's play to find us from the ferry – or to take a short bike ride. We have large parking lots and areas for exhibitors, several restaurant environments, and two playgrounds where we can create something unique even for adults. Gotland is described by many as a short trip far away. Coming to Visby is something very special, and it is difficult to put your finger on what creates that feeling. If we allow ourselves to guess, it is probably the contrasts between the World Heritage Site and the barren landscape with its magical beaches.

Most people travel to the island by ferry, which runs daily from both Nynäs and Oskarshamn. Discounted ferry ticket prices are available for larger events and group trips. As an organizer, you can choose between individual ferry ticket bookings or package bookings.

It is also possible to fly to and from Visby. SAS is the main operator and flies the Arlanda-Visby route several times a day.

Our breadth in terms of the physical size of the event makes us unique. Restaurant Solsidan is the hub when we work with groups. There you can enjoy good food and drink with a magical view. Whether you want a cozy after-work gathering, a three-course dinner, or a really lively party, Solsidan and its Rotunda are a really good choice!
